Privacy notice

Last updated 29 October 2026.

Draft. This page is pending legal review against India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and may change before ShowMyTicket.in launches its services.

This notice explains what personal data ShowMyTicket.in (“we”, “us”) collects through showmyticket.in, why we collect it and what you can do about it. We process personal data in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the rules made under it.

What we collect

  • Enquiries (“Plan an event with us”): your name, organisation, email, mobile number if you give it, and the event details you enter: type, city, date, expected attendees, services and your message.
  • Contact messages: your name, email, mobile number if you give it, subject and message.
  • Technical data: your IP address when you submit a form, used to prevent spam and abuse, and the security check result from Cloudflare Turnstile.

We don’t ask for payment details on this website, and we don’t use advertising or tracking cookies.

Why we use it

  • To reply to you and prepare a proposal for your event.
  • To keep a record of enquiries and the services we agree with you.
  • To protect the website and our forms from spam and misuse.

We use your data only with your consent, which you give by ticking the consent box on a form, or where the law otherwise allows it. We don’t send you promotional messages unless you separately opt in.

Who we share it with

We don’t sell or rent personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run the website and our email, under contracts that require them to protect it:

  • Cloudflare, which hosts this website and runs the form security check.
  • Our hosting provider in India, where our application and database run.
  • Amazon Web Services (Simple Email Service), which sends our emails.

We may also disclose data where the law requires it.

Event registrations we manage for organisers

When we run registration for an organiser’s event, the organiser decides what data is collected and how it is used. We process that data on their instructions, keep it only as long as agreed with them, and hand it over only to people the organiser authorises.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries and messages for as long as we need them to respond and to keep business records, and then delete them. Retention periods will be confirmed in the final version of this notice.

Your rights

You can ask us to tell you what personal data we hold about you, correct or update it, or erase it, and you can withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawing consent doesn’t affect anything we did before you withdrew it. You can also nominate someone to exercise these rights for you.

To make a request or raise a concern, email [email protected]. If you’re not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Security

Forms are sent over an encrypted connection, access to enquiry records is limited to authorised staff, and we review our safeguards regularly.

Changes to this notice

We’ll update this page when our practices change and show the date of the latest version at the top.
